Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to purchases from Alb Filters Egypt, operated by AA Engineering Trading Co. Please read them together with the product information and the terms shown at checkout.

Orders, prices and delivery

Orders are subject to availability and confirmation. Prices, taxes, delivery and any installation charges are those disclosed on the product page, quotation or checkout. If a material pricing or description error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding and offer cancellation with a refund of any amount paid. Delivery and installation dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise; we will notify you of significant delays.

Returns and exchanges

You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving an eligible product, subject to the exceptions permitted by Egyptian consumer protection law. Please retain your receipt or order confirmation and, where available, the original packaging and accessories. Products returned for a change of mind should be unused and in their original condition. Installed, used or opened consumable products may be excluded only where a legal exception applies. These conditions do not restrict rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.

If a product is defective or does not match the agreed specifications or purpose, you may request a replacement or return with a refund within 30 days of receipt, at no additional cost, without prejudice to any longer warranty or other statutory rights. Contact us through the store's published contact channels with your order number and a description of the issue. Inspection may be needed to establish the cause and appropriate remedy.

Refunds will be processed within the period required by applicable law, using the original payment method unless another method is agreed. Exchanges are subject to availability; any price difference will be settled or refunded as appropriate. We will explain return arrangements in advance. No return fee, shipping deduction or restocking charge will be imposed where the law requires a cost-free return.

Installation, use and maintenance

Products must be selected, installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and their stated operating limits. Customers are responsible for providing accurate site and water-supply information and arranging suitable access and plumbing conditions. Unless expressly included in a written quotation, site alterations and additional plumbing work are outside the purchase price. Installation should be performed by a suitably qualified professional.

Filtration performance and cartridge life depend on water quality, pressure, temperature, usage and maintenance. A filter does not guarantee that every water source is safe to drink and must not be used outside its stated specifications. Replace cartridges and media as recommended. Product photographs are illustrative; supplied items must conform to the agreed description and specifications.

Warranty and responsibility

Any manufacturer's warranty applies on its stated terms in addition to mandatory consumer rights. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, unsuitable operating conditions or failure to maintain the product may fall outside warranty coverage, to the extent permitted by law. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us as the seller or service provider.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or business interruption. Where a contractual limitation is legally permissible, our aggregate liability for a claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount paid for the affected product or service. No exclusion or limitation applies to fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Applicable law and contact

These terms are governed by Egyptian law. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law or prevents you from contacting the Consumer Protection Agency or the competent courts. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Changes to these terms apply to future orders and do not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing purchase.
